Take the kids to Vegas! There are plenty of things to keep the kids entertained – these US mom bloggers know so from experience. They’ve holidayed in Las Vegas with their kids and have got plenty to say about it, from hiking in the Red Rock Canyon to trampolining and watching an iconic Las Vegas Show. Vegas doesn’t just have to be for the parents!

Read on for some inspiration for you and the family…

Hiking at Red Rock Canyon

Emily from Our Knight Life says…

Red Rock Canyon has many trails that are kid-friendly. I suggest stopping at the visitors center and asking the volunteers for trail suggestions, and while you are there your kids can get the Jr. Ranger Activity book filled with tips and facts about Red Rock Canyon. It’s a great way to stay active and have fun with the whole family.

BounceU of Henderson

Krista from Stayfitmom.com says…

This is the perfect spot to take your kids to unleash their energy and have some serious fun. I love that I can sit and relax with the comfort of knowing my kids aren’t going to go anywhere. My kids get some great physical activity time in and I can even join in on the fun if I want.

I suggest taking something to work on, study, or just a great book to read while your kids are wildly entertained. Don’t forget your socks incase you decide to join in on the fun!

I have found that BounceU is one of the most affordable jump and inflatable play locations in the valley. Single day passes are cheap and kids under 3 play free

Cirque Du Soleil Show

Helen from Family Travel Scoop says…

Las Vegas is not just for the big kids!  There are loads of action packed activities to enjoy for kids of all ages. Stroll along the strip and check out the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus hotel for amusement rides,  Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay for a world class aquarium and one of the craziest roller coasters at the New York, New York hotel.

Tired of all the glam and glitter? Then head out to the desert for a tour of the beautiful Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area or fly through the sky while ziplining down the Red Mountains just outside of Las Vegas.

Be sure not to miss out on seeing a Cirque Du Soleil show. These shows are a feast for the eyes!  Mystere is a perfect choice for families

Blue Man Group

Katie from La Jolla Mom says…

Right now, my daughter’s favorite thing to do in Las Vegas is see “Blue Man Group” at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino (soon-to-be at Luxor). We sat close to the stage in Orchestra seats where giant beach balls drop from the ceiling and things like toilet paper shoot into the crowd. I would say that kids age 6 and older will appreciate the silent-but-witty humor of the show most. I even thought most of it was funny. The show is the perfect length at about 90 minutes.
